Martlet Cottage is a small family run bed and breakfast establishment located in the lovely Somerset village of Langford Budville, just a few miles from the Devon border.
It is ideally suited for touring and exploring both beautiful counties and all of the plentiful attractions they offer.
The splendid rooms are situated in a centuries old barn, recently converted especially for the purpose.
The furnishings and decor are tasteful and in-keeping with the style of the building, the beds are large and comfortable with high quality linens and each room has superb and individual en-suite facilities with large fluffy towels and toiletries provided.
A wide selection of breakfasts suitable for all appetites and diets are cooked freshly to order and served in the first floor dining room with views across the farmland and to The Blackdown Hills and Wellington Monument in the distance.
Langford Budville is a pretty village, surrounded by open countryside and woodland that is criss-crossed by numerous footpaths and bridleways, perfect for walkers and nature lovers.
There are numerous interesting properties in the village too, of particular note are St Peters church perched on top of the hill with far reaching rural views and The Martlet Inn, a 17th century public house that offers fine food and a great choice of local ales.

By car
Leave the M5 motorway at junction 26 and follow signs to Wellington town centre.
At the 2nd set of traffic lights turn right onto the B3127 (sign posted "Milverton")
Follow this road out of Wellington for approx two miles and turn left (signposted "Langford Budville)
After approx 300 metres is The Martlet Inn on the left.
Martlet Cottage can be found next door (to the right of the pub)
