Our Bed and Breakfast in Aberdare is located six miles south of the Brecon Beacons National Park and 20 miles Northwest of Cardiff.

We are situated in a quiet area of Aberdare with on site parking and only a minutse walk from Aberdare town centre.

There are regular bus and rail links from Aberdare to Cardiff and surrounding valleys.

All of the rooms have some or full en-suite facilities.

Towels, tea and coffee making facilities, digital TV and WI-FI internet are available.

All showers in the first floor rooms are now on a pump system.

TO FIND OUR GUEST HOUSE IN ABERDARE

Find Wilkinson and Argos stores in Aberdare town.
Turn up the hill opposite these stores, passing The Conway pub.
Take the third or fourth left opposite the police station.
We are about 100 metres from the police station.

TO GET TO ABERDARE
Our Guest House in Aberdare is situated about 20 miles Northwest of Cardiff.
Put CF44 7ER into your Sat Nav or follow the directions below.

FROM SOUTHERN ENGLAND
Exit M4 (Junction 32), follow the A470 north signposted for Merthyr Tydfil.
At the first roundabout (14 miles from Cardiff) take the first exit left on the A4059 towards Aberdare.
Follow signs for Aberdare.

FROM NORTHERN ENGLAND
Exit M5 (Junction 8) onto M50 to Ross on Wye.
Then take the A40 for Monmouth and then on to Abergavenny.
About 6 miles after Monmouth make sure you don't miss the exit off the dual carriageway for Abergavenny which keeps you on the A40.
At Abergavenny follow the A465 signposted for Merthyr Tydfil.
About 3 miles before you get to Merthyr, look out for signs for Neath which will keep you on the A465.
About 2 miles after Merthyr at the top of a long uphill climb, exit the A465 on the B4276 signposted for Llwydcoed and then for Aberdare.

FROM WEST WALES
Exit M4 (Junction 43), follow A465 signposted for Neath and Merthyr Tydfil.
About 6 miles before Merthyr at Hirwaun exit the A465 towards Aberdare on the A4059.

FROM NORTH WALES
From Brecon, go South on the A470.
There are two routes to Aberdare from Brecon.

Route 1
About 10 miles from Brecon, immediately after passing a reservoir, turn right onto the A4059.
Watch out for Kamikazi sheep on this road.
At the first roundabout take the first exit left and take the third exit off the next roundabout on the A4059 for Aberdare.

Route 2
About 20 miles from Brecon where the A470 crosses the A465, turn right at the roundabout uphill on the A465.
At the top of the long uphill climb, exit the A465 on the B4276 signposted for Llwydcoed and then for Aberdare.
