We are situated three miles from Whitehaven to the west and three miles from the Ennerdale valley to the east.
Wastwater, Ennerdale, Loweswater, Crummock, Buttermere, Bassentwaite and Derwentwater are all within easy reach.
Visit the historic harbour town of Whitehaven or explore the Roman history at Ravenglass and Hardnott Fort.
For Children, we are only a short distance from the miniature Eskdale steam railway that runs from from Ravensglass to Boot and a visit to Muncaster Castle with its World owl centre and 'Happy Heron Hour' is a must.
We are close to the C2C walking/cycle route and we offer pick up/drop off service for C2C walkers.
Our Guest House is in the private Rheda Park and we offer safe, secure off road parking for contractors and cyclists.
We can advise on the best walking in the area and even provide an experienced fell guide.

From the North:
By car from Cockermouth.
Follow the Egremont road to Frizington.
Pass the Griffin pub on the right, go over the mini roundabout and take the first right along church road.
Follow the road for about 1/2 mile.
You will see the entrance for Rheda Park on your right just after the turning for Rheda Close.
Proceed approx 1/4 mile and take a left turn.
We are then on the left hand side.
From Whitehaven, follow the signs for Frizington and you will see Rheda park on your right.
Approx 200yrds ahead there is a right turn and we are then on the left.
