The Cottage is run by the owner Helen who strives to make the Guest House a warm and friendly atmosphere for all her Guests.
The property built in the late 17 century, was originally four cottages and has bean sympathetically altered to seven letting bedrooms consisting of four en suite and three with shared bathrooms.
There is plenty of car parking behind the premises leading on to a spacious garden which our guests are very welcome to enjoy.
In the Village there is Church of England, Methodist and Catholic churches.
We have a museum, library, Art Gallery, Aero Park, village hall, local cricket and football matches, clay shooting, many walks in open country side, children's play area and Spital park for the older children.
Fishing and Bird watching near by.
Calk Abbey (National Trust)and Staunton Harold are within 20 minutes drive.
Nottingham Sherwood Forest, Alton Towers, Ashbourne, The Peak District, Bakewell Chatworth House and Matlock are about 40 minutes drive.
There is a small guest kitchen with microwave and fridge for Guests to use if they wish.
