Llundain Fach, 'Little London', is set in a secluded location, just off the Swansea-Brecon Road (A4067) and on the southern edge of the Brecon Breacons, on the banks of the River Tawe, and surrounded by trees.
We provide relaxed welcoming comfort in an atmosphere somewhere between Enid Blyton and Donovan.
There are two first-floor double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room; both have views down to the River Tawe.
A third bedroom on the same floor is available only for families, or friends who are travelling together. We can also provide a cot on request. Ironing board and iron available.
If your plans for a day out are spoilt by bad weather, or a nasty blister, or even if you have just had enough of the fabulous landscape, there is also a cosy study next to the bedrooms, with freeview TV and DVD player, books, cards and old board games, that sort of thing. Make yourselves at home.
There is a large lawn and a small woods, where you can sit by the rivers edge and enjoy the wildlife: herons, ducks, woodpeckers and other woodland birds, and the occasional otter and kingfisher. Even, maybe, have your breakfast by the river bank.
Fishing enthusiasts are welcome to try fishing from our banks, and licences can be purchased locally.
We are convenient for the towns of Ystradgynlais, Abercrave, Pontardawe, Swansea, Brecon, and the outstanding locations of the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Peninsula.
