Situated in a wing of the house, entry is through its own door so no need to worry about disturbing others.
The double bed accommodation has, flatscreen freeview television with DVD, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.
The en-suite facilities have a toilet, basin and shower.
French doors lead onto a spacious balcony with extensive views over open fields to the Lakeland and Pennine fells; views also include the tallest structure in Britain situated about one mile away and beyond towards Scotland making it the ideal place to relax with a glass of wine.
Guests are also welcome to use the owner's garden.
Breakfast is served at any time by arrangement and guests will enjoy a full English Breakfast with all products sourced locally where possible.
Located centrally in the quiet village of Skelton, North View is handily placed for a visit to the Dog and Gun (300yds) offering local beers and a good selection of bar food, takeaway food is also available.
The village has a part time post office, church and chapel.
Skelton is situated on the edge of the Lake District with a large number of attractions only a short drive away. Close at hand are Hutton -in -the- Forest, Upfront Gallery, and Caldbeck. Ullswater is 7 miles and is a must see place to visit. The nearest town of Penrith is 5 miles away and has small shops and supermarkets. Other places to visit are Windermere, Appleby, Carlisle, Roman Wall and Scotland. The list is endless.
