Bryn-y-Ddafad is an ideal touring base for S.E. Wales, close to the M4 with the unspoilt Heritage Coast, the Gower, the Brecon Beacons and the South Wales Valleys all within easy reach.

Relax in a peaceful rural location surrounded by panoramic views and enjoy our scrumptious Welsh breakfast with a variety of dishes from a traditional Welsh breakfast including Laverbread to fish or vegetarian options, all freshly cooked, you will be spoilt for choice!

All bedrooms have en-suite or private facilities, flat screen televisions, hairdryers and comprehensive hospitality trays.

In the main house guests may use the first floor residents' lounge and ground floor sun lounge leading to the patio and attractive garden with a pond and stream.

Our ground floor annex, Y Bwthyn Bach is ideal for guests with limited mobility. The bedroom may be twin or super king bedded, one or two additional guests may be accommodated using the high quality double bed settee in the living area.

Bed and breakfast guests staying in the annex may use the microwave and fridge. A travel cot is available.

Short breaks of three nights are discounted by 10% off the price of a one night stay during High Season( the months of June, July. August, September).

Short breaks of three nights are discounted by 15% off the price of a one night stay during Low Season (the months of March, April, May, October, November, December.

Stays of Four Consecutive nights or more are discounted by 20%
These offers are not available for single occupancy, if you plan a long stay discounts may be available by negotiation.

Tariffs are inclusive of Full Welsh, vegetarian or Continental breakfast.

From the East (M4 J33)
Please note if you are using satellite navigation use the postcode of Welsh St. Donats village CF71 7SS and follow the brown signage from the crossroads.
Leave the M4 at Junction 33 and take A4232.
Leave A4232 at the exit signposted A4050 and Cardiff Wales Airport. At the large roundabout, Culverhouse Cross, take the fourth exit, the A48 signposted to Cowbridge.
Pass through St. Nicholas and Bonvilston, and the Old Post and Aubrey Arms pubs.
Half a mile further on turn right at the sign to Welsh St. Donats. At the X-roads in Welsh St. Donats village (Bryn -y -Ddafad has brown signage from this point and is approximately ¾ mile from the village ) take the first right.
Drive through Heol-y-Mynydd and on leaving village proceed straight on (do not follow the road markings at this point which lead to the right).
Pass the Hensol Forest Car Park on the right.
At the sign for Cartreglas do not turn right, drive straight ahead Bryn-y-Ddafad is signposted to the left shortly after this and is 400 yds ahead on the right.
