The routes below are from the main areas of the country. They are not necessarily the shortest routes but are the simplest to follow. We will be happy to let you have a route from any areas not covered by those below. From North & Midlands From M5 take J11 for Gloucester (A40). After 7 miles turn left onto A48 (Chepstow). After 13 miles you will reach Blakeney. Just as you are leaving the village there is a right turn to Parkend. After 4 miles you will enter village of Parkend, continue down the hill. You will see the cricket pitch on the left, Edale House is on the right. If you pass the Woodman pub you have missed our entrance. From South East & South West Using M4 cross on the Severn Bridge take M48/A48 to Chepstow. Continue on the A48 through Chepstow. After 10 mile turn left into Lydney. Opposite the Tesco garage left to Parkend sign posted Bream. On entering Bream go over the hill and take the 2nd turning right, follow the road through Bream up the hill nad dowm the other side at the Y junction turn right into Parkend. Edale is on the road to the left, next to the Woodman public house. |
