From Yeovil follow the A37 to Dorchester. At the Quicksilver roundabout, turn left following A37 - Dorchester/Weymouth (You will pass Yeovil Junction station on your left) Go straight over the next roundabout (The Red House pub should be on your right) After about half a mile, in the bend of the road, take the road on the right sign posted to Sutton Bingham and Halstock. Follow this road for about 3.5 miles passing the reservoir en route and you will enter Halstock village. Go past the village store and post office (on the left) the Quiet Woman House can be found about 200 yards further on on the junction of the next left turning (sign posted to Closworth). Turn down this lane and enter the parking area behind the house on the driveway on the right. |
