Directions
From M1 North:
Leave the M1 at junction 28. Take A38 towards Mansfield, and after 3 to 4 miles, at major traffic lights pick up signs for A617 Newark, which is a right turn. Head towards Newark until you reach Rainworth, which is located about 3 miles south east of Mansfield. Keep on the Rainworth bi pass and go straight across the A614/A617 roundabout and at the top of the hill watch out for a narrow, indistinct sighpost on the left hand side of the road, pointing across the road to the right, "Farnsfield 1 ¼ Miles".

Turn sharp right and follow the road until you reach a 'T' junction.
Turn left, through the village, past the shops until you see the sign for The Plough Inn.
Grange Cottage is directly opposite The Plough Inn, on the right hand side of the road. It is a large white house with the gable end facing the front door of The Plough Inn and has 3 X 10' high gate pillars. On one of them is the yellow AA 3-Diamond accommodation plaque. The gates are electrically operated.

From M1 South.
Leave the M1 at junction 26, A610 to Nottingham which crosses the ring road after approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left at the ring road heading north following signs A60 to Mansfield, keepimg along the ring road for about 1.5 miles. You will arrive at an intersection with traffic lights at which you filter left to Mansfield. (There is a large car showroom on the right hand corner)). Having turned left on to A60 Mansfield Road, Approximately 1.5 miles further you come to a large roundabout. Take right fork (A614) to Ollerton and Doncaster. Follow this road for about 9 miles until you come to the White Post roundabout. On the right hand side is The White Post Inn,on the left a Jeep Garage, opposite is the White Post Farm Centre. Turn right here (signposted Farnsfield) and follow road through village, past Red Lion on left, Warwick on right and you will come to The Plough Inn on left.

FROM A1,NEWARK-ON-TRENT THEN VIA A617
Heading north on the A1 take the second Newark turning marked A46 Newark/Lincoln (it has the British Rail logo on the sign)
Head towards Newark.

At the first roundabout take second exit (Newark Ring Road, on the northern side of Newark). At next roundabout take third exit A617 (signposted Mansfield/Southwell).
Keep on the A617 for approximately 10 miles, passing through the villages of Hockerton and Kirklington.

As you get within 2 miles of the turnoff for Farnsfield look out for signs pointing to the left, to Bilsthorpe, there will be about three of them. After the third sign watch out for an indistinct signpost on the right hand side of the road, pointing across the road to the left, "Farnsfield 1 ¼ miles".
