Avron is an elegant Victorian property built in 1898 and retains many of the original features.

It is in a quiet residential area of Torquay overlooking a pretty wooded green, but is only a 15 minute walk from Torquay centre with its beach, marina and theatre; also a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Babbacombe Downs and famous Cliff Railway.

There are eight tastefully furnished rooms, all en-suite, with colour digital TV, drinks making facilities, hairdryer, clock alarm, towels and complimentary toiletries.

A single and a twin/kingsize rooms are located on the ground floor.

Breakfast is cooked to your liking and served in our sunny dining room, which overlooks the green.

The dining room also contains a licensed bar where you can sit and socialise during the evening, or sit and relax in our cosy residents' lounge.

For the summer, there is a sunny patio area where you can relax and watch the world go by.

Whether you are in Torquay on business, a short break, family holiday, or visiting friends and family in the area, a very warm welcome will await you at Avron House.

Directions
Approaching Torquay from Newton Abbot on the A380, you will come to a main set of traffic lights with Torbay hospital on your right, take the left hand lane by Curry's and turn left following the T.U.F.C sign (Torquay United Football Club) - you will go past Staples on your right hand side. Straight over the first roundabout through Hele, down the hill to a twin mini roundabout.

Turn left at the first roundabout, then immediately right at the second travelling up the hill. You will come to a set of traffic lights, carry on through for approx. 500 yards then turn right into Cary Park Road, go to the end and turn right.

Avron House is 150 yards on your right. If you are experiencing problems or totally lost, please phone and we will guide you in. This is the easiest way in, it avoids most of the town centre traffic.
