Small Acre is located in the lovely village of St Margaret's, with its attractive bay between the White Cliffs and the surrounding National Trust countryside.
It is 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal in Dover and 30 minutes from the Channel Tunnel; in an area of outstanding natural beauty and for walkers and cyclists there are many different routes to enjoy.
The village has a number of pubs and good restaurants; further afield, Canterbury is 15 miles distant, but nearer is Deal, an old fashioned seaside town and Sandwich, which boasts the largest number of listed buildings.
The house is in a fantastic location, overlooking the Foreland Valley to the White Cliffs and the Channel; on clear days Calais can easily be seen and we have many clear days.
In a private road and therefore very quiet, with off-road parking.
There are 3 rooms available:
The pink room is a luxury suite, with flexible sleeping accommodation, doubling as a family room; it is very comfortably furnished with the view described above.
The blue room has a king size bed and again is very comfortably furnished, but smaller; it has a private bathroom adjacent and overlooks the garden on two sides.
The green room is twin bedded and is suitable for children with their parents or relatives, as the bathroom has to be shared with those using the blue room; it is basic but comfortable and looks out to the front of the house.
The garden is a paradise for gardeners; filled with plants of every description, both tropical and Mediterranean; there are terraaces and sitting areas all around and it's a lovely spot to enjoy coffee after breakfast, if the weather is suitable.
