Appleby Cottage is set on the green in the historic village of Hartest, said to be one of the most idyllic villages of Suffolk.

The cottage is full of character and dates back some five hundred years with a great deal of antique charm and history.

All rooms are on suite, with fresh fruit and tea making facilities.

There is a log fire to sit by in the winter months.

Breakfast time is to your requirements.

Delicious sausages made by the village butcher just two doors away are part of the full English breakfast.

The village pub serves good food and local ales.

On a Thursday night, the church which dates back to the fourteenth century often have the local bell ringers practicing their music.

Max and Maggie Holland have owned an Inn in Stowe Vermont and worked abroad for many years before settling back here in Suffolk.

The cottage is not suitable for children under 15 years old.

Parking is available but there are no facilities for credit cards. payments.
