Chantlers Bed & Breakfast, Crowders Lane, Battle is set in seven acres of parkland like grounds that guests are free to enjoy.

We have ample parking.

Situated in 1066 country on the outskirts of Battle, down a quiet country lane.

Battle is famous for its Abbey and its connections to the Battle of Hastings 1066.

It offers a quaint shopping environment with numerous boutiques, jewellers, restaurants and gastro-pubs.

Close to the sea-side towns of Hastings, Bexhill and Eastbourne. Historic Rye is 30 minutes by car.

We offer a double en-suite bedroom with its own large private roof terrace, ideal for a relaxing or romantic evening after a days sightseeing and exploring the area.

Amenities include a TV with freeview, free WIFI connection and a hospitality tray.

A twin room with an adjoining bathroom is also available

Breakfast is served in the conservatory overlooking the grounds, with the option of the patio on warm days.

Full English Breakfast including freshly laid free range eggs from our hens or Continental Breakfast is offered.

Directions
Turn off the A21 at Johns Cross signposted Battle.
As you enter Battle take the third turning right at the roundabout. Proceed past Claverham School on your left, continue past the Squirrel Pub on your left.
After the pub take the next left turn ,signposted to Catsfield and Bexhill A269.
After a short distance take the first right by a black and white house.
This is a sharp turning and is Crowders Lane.
Drive up the lane, past a field with our cattle.
Chantlers is the second house on the right, distinguished by a gravel drive edged with railway sleepers.
