Rigg House is a family run, farmhouse B&B set on the Rigg Estate just outside of Kirkconnel on the A76.
Rooms are en-suite and evening meals and packed lunches can usually be provided on request.
As an addition to bed and breakfast we can offer a variety of country activities such as Roe deer stalking,duck flights,fishing on the river Nith and some rough days shooting.
The Rigg Estate is set in approximately 4000 acres, comprising of 2 flight ponds, woodland and young plantations. The river Nith runs through it offering great salmon and trout fishing.
Walking, canoeing and gold panning are all available nearby.
There are several golf courses close to the Rigg, including Sanquhar and Thornhill, the latter being Andrew Coultards home course to which visitors are most welcome.
