Westoun is a tiny hamlet near Coalburn which lies just 3 miles off Jct 11 of M74. Tucked away at the end of a discreet lane, Craigend Cottage is perfectly situated for those wishing to visit Lanarkshire. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside ideal for walkers, riders, golfers and rough cyclists.

All rooms have;
Fully equipped En suites
19" LCD TV's with built in Freeview
DVD Players
Beverage Making facilities
Hairdryers
Complimentary Toiletries
Alarm Clock Radios

Breakfast is included in the price of your room and all our produce is locally sourced with free range and organic produce being used where possible.

Pets can be accommodated at Craigend Cottage by arrangement and on production of the appropriate paper work (vaccination certificates, Proof of recent flea treatments). Unfortunately we can only accept dogs and only one dog at a time. We should also point out that due to the proliferation of sheep and cattle in the surrounding fields that they should be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are charged at an additional £5 per night.

We have the benefit of a 5 ½ acre field adjacent to the house and hope to be able to erect stables and accommodate guest's horses in the future. In the meantime we are able to offer use of the field to those travelling with horses that do not require stabling facilities. Guests should contact us to discuss their booking if bringing horses.
